I’m not sure if this is the best title for this page, but it is indeed a list of things I’m looking for. Typically, these are things that I know exist and I’ve been trying to find them but they’re just not for sale anywhere – or they’re for sale in Narnia or somewhere and they don’t ship to the UK.
Some of these items are just a reminder of things I’ve decided to add to my life at some point. Most of these will be items that contribute towards a particular project and that project will be complete once all of the items are acquired and assembled.
Camcorder Service Manuals
Depending on price and condition, I would be very open to buying physically printed copies of service manuals. This assumes that they are the original printed service manual and not a printout of a PDF – I can do that at home.
That being said, if you’re able to send along a PDF, that would be amazing, too. Again, I can print it here at home, if required. Unless otherwise specified, please assume these manuals are for the UK/Europe releases of these camcorders.

Retro Video Gear
I have a big list of current video gear that’s stored somewhere else, but I’m after a few pieces of retro video gear. Some of this is because it was the best of its time at its level, some of it is because I’ve used it in the past and want it back, and some of it is just because I want the experience of using it.

Networking Gear
This is a short and long-term plan. In the short term, I need to rebuild the network here at home and have a setup in mind that I can bring along with us to a new house when we move. I want the existing setup to be built on top of at a new place, not completely replaced.
I’m putting the total list of all of the eventual hardware below, but I will mark off how many of each I have, and I’ll highlight them in a different colour if I have enough for my immediate needs.

This list may grow and evolve over time as needs change, but I’ll keep it updated as I go.

This is mostly just a reminder list of items that I want to have one day. Some of them I have tried and I just know I want to add it to my kit. Others, on paper, should do what I need and reviews speak quite highly of them. And some are just because I want to have one to play with.

Yes, it’s mostly audio gear. I want to play with more audio gear and see if it’ll solve some technical challenges I need to overcome. At least, the Behringer gear is. The Lewitt LCT 440 Pure is just because every video I’ve heard that was shot using it as its audio source has made me want to try one out.
If and when I get one, I’ll be sure to do a side-by-side with the Rode NT1a.
